i'm feeling so tired and mopey it's not even funny. i don't even know why. i feel completely emotionally detatched. as if i'm just watching myself go through the motions of life. i feel like that often, actually. i'm so depersonalized ... i'm sure it's a result of stress from school, family, money, friends, you know ... all that drama. it's getting to me, seriously. i need a vacation, and march is just one big block of school ... only 28 days left until spring break. (not counting weekends & holidays.) i'll probably go insane before then.

friday we walked to target and i bought awesome shoes. then we went to patsy's and watched carrie, red dragon and part of kill bill. carrie was fun, red dragon was SOOO SUSPENSEYFUL compared to silence of the lambs and hannibal ... anne and i were like, squealing. ("DON'T GO UP THE STAIRS! OMFG! NO! HIS KID IS IN THAT ROOM! WHAT? HE'S NOT DEAD?!") it was hilarious ... i didn't really like kill bill, it was like, gratuitous violence for the sake of being gratutiously violent. it was stupid. and i hate uma thurman. i don't see what the big deal over those movies issss.

saturday anne and i went to target (again) and i bought a skirt and a shirt ... whee! this summer i'm going to wear skirts because a) girl's shorts don't like me and b) boy's shorts are too hot. then she came over to my house and we raked the lawn (sort of. it felt weird to be raking in february) and i dyed my hair (it only dyed my roots, dammit!) and then we chillaxed, patsy came over and gave us cake, and we played cranium. i became homicidal during that game due to various factors, including drugged-up cake and being insanely competitive. i was on the brink of murderous violence!

OH MY GOD i have sooo much homework and i put it all off until today, and my dad's like OMFG TODAY IS BONDING DAY and i don't want to because i have so much freaking homework. ): depressing, eh? it is FUCKING COLD IN THIS BASEMENT KTHXBAI. and i'm hungry. god damnit. my foot is numb. i'm being angsty.

digital camera fun! what now, hoes? what now? if i knew how to do awesome cuts, then i would post more, but i'm unaccustomed to livejournal ... so until i become brilliant, you're only going to get one picture per day. i don't wanna block up peoples' friends page thing.

aww man i am having a huuge ugly day. HAVING A BAD TIME. ugh, i'm so sick of school. and you know what i'm sick of? drama. and falling out with friends. i mean, not falling out, but like ... drifting apart. i'm sick of it. why can't we all just chill out? my god. it's driving me insane. (not that i wasn't insane in the first place, but ... insane-er.) it's making me depressed. in other news, i got a digital camera, which informed me that i was ugly before punching me in the face. (not really, but i apparently look ugly in all manner of pictures. it's called "chronic uglypicture syndrome.")

fwa-fwa. happy ... president's day. aka, the day vanessa has to do her homework, because she slacked off all weekend. i still have geometry and chemistry to do (i doubt i'll do the chemistry, baha!) and i wanna do something, but i'm a) too lazy and b) concerned that we won't have enough TIME to do anything fun, since it's a school night. man, these days suck. but if anyone's up for anything, do call me. i'm just sitting in my basement collecting dust at the moment.

O SHIT! i had the strangest dream last night that there was some sort of natural disaster, and there were all these little children ... and anthony hopkins in a pink bathrobe, but he wouldn't talk to anyone or interact with anything, he'd just follow me around. everywhere. he followed me to school. and sat under my desk in chemistry. WHAT? hahah, i have weird dreams.

tonight my mom's making me go to sleep at 11 because she wants to go to bed. what the hell logic is that. not that i'll sleep, i'll just draw for a while, bahah.

darn, i won't be seeing the world's fastest indian after all. and has anyone noticed that i can't do anything good nowadays except lineart? i need to get a professional ... colourist. to colour all my lineart. because i apparently can't do anything right colour-wise. anne is coming over to chillax! and we're going to ... do something. i don't know what. watch another movie, probably.

what the hell! the weather is like bipolar. saturday: snow. all day long. thursday: a warm and sunny sixty degrees. this weekend's forcast: snow. SOMEONE IS PLAYING MIND GAMES.

in other (better) news, i know what i'm going to be when i grow up = clinical psychologist! i had already considered majouring in psychology, but i'm most interested in clinical psychology, so ... yeah. and i'm going to take IB psych next year, and hopefully IB psych 2 senior year. a lot of work, but at least it's interesting ...

in other n00z, anne came over for dinner yesterday! it was mucho ... fun. we need to do that more often. and we need to feed you, girl! we're both 5'4" and 103 pounds, so we keep switching clothes. it's neet to have a clone.

happy valentine's day. i got chocolate. and cramps. hmph. so far i've gotten my period on every single major holiday. so far: halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, and valentine's day. IN A ROW. and those are all holidays where you eat sweet things! sweet things give me cramps! WTF!

Emergency Announcement

Sun., Feb. 12 - All Fairfax County public schools will be closed on Monday, Feb. 13. Offices will be open with a liberal leave policy in effect. Essential personnel are to report to work.

ohkay so snow = yes! FOREVER! AWESOMENESS! ten-twelve inches of sweet, sweet, cold, fluffy love. and no school tomorrow! what could be better? well, i'm kinda sick, so that sucks, but still! so a summary of this weekend:
FRIDAY
hung around out back of the school for about an hour before bryant's mom picked us up and took us to the mall, getting special valentine's day presents ;) and i got a new studded belt! it was six bucks. a-mazing. and then we ate a bunch of popeye's and went to my house ... and we couldn't get army of darkness to play on the stupid upstairs DVD so we started watching the satanic rites of dracula ... which was so bad. but we ended up watching the new house on haunted hill, which was fun. mr. rush, you are a crazy man! bryant didn't like it, and anne was afraid. but too bad. allison and i enjoyed it immensely.
SATURDAY
did ... absolutely nothing. all day long. i read chocolat. that's about it.
SUNDAY
i went sledding with allison at terra center! it was sooo much fun. there was this HUGE hill, and i have a saucer sled ... and there was a ramp ... and i was just FLYING down the hill and i hit the ramp backwards and went airborne. it was exciting. and my sled fell in the creek :( and i was thirsty so i ate some snow. then allison and i went back to my house where we did a bunch of boring things, but it was still better than doing boring things by ourselves.

school is so stressfull. i'm trying to tone down the stress factor. i'm still failing chemistry, but so what? i'm not going to let one bad (read: TERRIBLE/INCOMPETANT) teacher ruin my whole sophomore year. are you with me people? yes! i hope it snows this weekend. wish for snow.
in other news, our car got repaired, thank god. and it's working, evidently, since my mom isn't home. i have an insane amount of homework to do this evening, so i'd better get started.

uggh, why do big crises happen all at once? yesterday, my mom's car like, exploded. and it'll cost 500$ to repair, because it needs a new radiator and battery, and that's all the bill money for this month. which means we're gonna get our electricity/heating/water/cable/telephones/everything turned off again! RAWR! and i'm sick again, and i've already missed like ... 18 days of school this year, which means i can't miss any more days, or else i'll automatically fail my classes. why does everything happen at the same damn time? ugh. i have no idea how i'll deal with a month of no electricity, heating, or water. it's gonna suck.
